This AU-1 Corsair was one of the participants in the events of Bizerte during June 1961.
Trumpeter’s 1/32 scale F4U-4 Corsair has been converted to an AU-1.

The fusleage was lengthened and had the leading edge of the wing modified. Many modifications were made to the canopy and cockpit, plus specifics of the AU-1 added. These includee new cannons and rocket stubs, hatches, tail gear, wheels, and the raised fuselage section at the aft of the canopy.
Markings were added using home-made stencils.
