Here is my Hasegawa 1/350 scale Mutsu.

The inspiration for this display came from the opening scene of the film, Tora! Tora! Tora!, with the ship’s crew of the Nagato manning the rails for Admiral Yamamoto’s arrival. With Mutsu, I could replicate the scene, if not the event.

The kit hull was cut to present the model for waterline display. The figures, approximately 170 of them, are from the Fujimi sailor set, whil the H8K Emily aircraft is from the Hasegawa DD Yukikaze.
