Academy's 1/48 scale MiG-21 MF is available online from Squadron
Here is my Academy 1/48 scale MiG-21 bis Fishbed (not a MiG-21 MF as indicated on the box).
Despite the incorrect title, the model features excellent moulding and finely recessed panel lines. It was not difficult to built. I built my MiG almost straight from the box.
I chose the Soviets colourful marking scheme. Paint was Tamiya acrylics, mixed to obtain the four upper surface colours.
