True Details' 1/48 scale F6F-5 Cockpit is available online from Squadron.com
This is Hasegawa 1/48 scale F6F-5 Hellcat “Minsi III” of Commander D. McCampbell.
In this model, the main theme is: Complete replication of Hellcat's true outline form and depict the sharp, brawny, and vicious presence of the Hellcat. The second theme was a gimmick of wing folding.
In order to depict correct shape, I selected Hasegawa kit. Because, its basic shape is superior to any other kit. Then I made up its shape to my ideal.
The cowling was widened by 2mm (.08”), the fuselage was extended by 3mm (.12”), and…
