Hasegawa's 1/32 scale P-47D Thunderbolt is available online from Squadron

Here is my 1/32 scale Hasegawa P-47D Thunderbolt.

The kit features beautifully recessed surface detail, although I also decided to add rows of rivet heads. Some of the assembly is difficult.

The cockpit is from Avionix, modified to depict the non-corrugated floor of the Block 30.

Some improvementswere also made to the exhaust and the landing gear.

Markings represent II/5 Lafayette based in Corsica, from April 1944 to September 1944 for the battle of the isle of Elba and the evacuation of Provence. These were hand-painted.

Rub and Buff and Hhumbrol paints were used for the bare metal finish as usual.
