Here are some pictures of my Wingman Models 1/48 scale Alpha Jet No.15211 "Blue Bird".
The original Jet was painted in a special scheme for the 50th anniversary of 103 squadron of the Portuguese AF. The plane is still operating in this livery today.

This Wingman Models Kit is excellent and was lots of fun! This kit is really amazing.
The model has been built straight from the box, but I added some Decal-Parts to the cockpit, mainly to the instrument panel. Blue RAL5005 Signalblau (~FS 15102) was the main color that is used.

To paint the model I used a mix of Tamiya X-4 and Mr.Hobby H-35. For the Stencel SIII- Ejection Seats I used a brightened blue Mr.Hobby H-25.
You can find other models I’ve built and further information about the "Blue Bird" on my (German) website: www.originalundmodell.de
A additional painting guide for this kit is available on the manufacturer Site: http://www.shopofphantoms.com/rhino/Pulsar/en_US.Shop.displayShop.7683./wmk48006
I hope that you will enjoy the model .
