Eduard's 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 is available online from Squadron

This was one of the first generation Eduard 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 kits that they gave away before the kit was released in 2014.

Paying attention to announcements on Hyperscale does pay off!

It was built relatively out of the box, with only Eduard fabric seat belts added. Decals came from Kagero's Excellent Messerschmitt Bf109's Over the Mediterranean part 1. It represents the Bf109G-6 Trop Black 8 of 5./JG 27 in Trapani, Italy in the summer of 1943.

The model was fun to build, and I was very grateful to Eduard for giving the kits away like they did.

I have another set of these decals, and I might build their second generation Bf109G-6 in them and display the two together.
