Airfix's 1/48 Spitfire Mk.Vb is available online from Squadron.com

Here are a few pictures of my Airfix new mould 1/48 Spitfire Vb. It is finished in the markings of AR403 of 65 squadron, alongside an original piece of the planes Merlin engine. I have built the kit with the addition of a Quickboost resin seat and gun barrels and a corrective De Havilland spinner.

It is finished with Hataka acrylic paints and various AK and Mig filters and washs. The decals are a mix of Xtradecal and kit.
