Over the years, Xtradecal has released a number of decal sets focused on specific units or general themes rather than just a single aircraft variant. I have always felt that these decal sets have been particularly good value as I am more likely to use multiple options from the same sheet on different aircraft types.

One of the latest "theme" sets is Xtradecal's Item No. X48170, "Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Stab Pt.1".

This set offers a whopping 15 options for Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-2, A-3, A-4, A-5, A-7, A-9 and D-9.

Staff markings have always tended to be colourful and this collection does not disappoint. The camouflage is varied across the range from greens and browns, greys, winter whitewash and more.

Colour notes are supplied, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.

 

 

This release offers some interesting and colourful options for Luftwaffe fans with a bunch of Wurgers and Doras in their collection!
