Revell's 1/48 scale F-15E Strike Eagle is available online from Squadron for only $51.99!
I've just finished Revell's 1/48 scale F-15E Strike Eagle.
This kit was originally released around 2000 and was updated with a very welcome weapons load in 2014. This is a great kit with a high level of detail, crisp and finely recessed panel lines and excellent fit.

I used the Eduard colour photo-etched set for the instrument panels and the lap harnesses. I quite liked the kit seat cushions and upper straps so I kept these and simply painted them.

The kit burner cans are beautifully detailed but they are made up from three sections each and I was concerned about the joins, so I bought the Aires Exhaust Nozzles set. This resin accessory was well worthwhile.

Decals are from TwoBobs Item No. 48-026 "F-15E Strike Eagles Mountain Home Avengers".
Preparing, painting and installing the various bombs, rockets, pods, tanks etc seemed to take as long as building the airframe.

This is a terrific model - not to mention great value - and I can thoroughly recommend it.
I'll be writing this one up in detail for Military Illustrated Modeller Issue 75.
