Tamiya's 1/48 P-51B Mustang is available online from Squadron.com for only $26.99!
Here is my model of the modernized Super Etendard (SEM). It comes from the 1/48 kit Kinetic "from the box" with the exception of a few details (ejection seat harness, small antennas, brake hoses, etc.).

This kit is very beautiful with however two important defects:
-
The clear parts of the cockpit are too narrow and must be widened by about 1 mm before being placed on the fuselage.
-
The colors of the decals (Marine and serial number) are too dark (identical to the dark gray of the paint).
I used the white numbers provided that I dyed with a thin layer of very diluted paint. The "MARINE" decal was printed on a white decal sheet.
For camouflage, I used Gunze H305 paints for dark gray and H332 + H337 slightly cleared with H338 for light gray.
Note that the instruction sheet is not very clear especially with regard to the installation of external loads.
