Xtradecal has combined the markings found in its recent two 1/48 scale bubbletop Mustang decal collection in a new 1/72 scale decal set. They are suitable for any P-51D/K / F-51D kit currently available.

 

 

Most of the eleven subjects are finshed in bare metal and/or silver dope, with a nice selection of colourful national markings and unique markings. One Swedish machine is finished in Dark Green upper surfaces and Blue Grey below.

 

 

A broad selection of nationalities are covered.

One full set of each of the national markings are included.

 

 

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across two folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheets. Both side plus upper and lower views are provided for all 11 aircraft. Stencils are not included.

Colour notes are supplied, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.

 

 

This release offers some lesser-known options for modellers with a Mustang kit or five kit already in their collection.
