Meng's 1/48 scale F-35A Lightning II is available online from Squadron for USD$59.99
Here is my latest completion, Eduard's brand new Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10 Mtt. Regensburg.
You can find a detailed in-box review by following this link.

The Eduard kit has been built almost straight from the box including the kit decals.
There are just a few of non-standard items
-
a staple from a Tamiya plastic bag bent to the shape of the DF loop
-
a length of copper wire for the FuG 25a antenna because it will be more robust than the thin plastic part, and
-
a metal industrial light filament for the pitot tube, also for robustness reasons.

Paints were mostly Gunze Sangyo acrylics and Mr Color lacquers.
This is a great kit in terms of detail, fit, poseable features, and options. Thoroughly recommended!

I am writing this one up in detail for Issue 91 of Military Illustrated Modeller magazine.
