About 10 years ago our editor did a review of an unusual all resin 1/72 kit of the Blackburn Firebrand by Aki Products.

Although I normally built 1/48 scale the unusual subject and unusual molding technology gave me a push to buy the kit. It sat on my shelf for about 10 years when I finally decided to build it as an Out Of The Box model.

Painted in the earlier Temperate Sea Scheme colors using Xtracolor enamels and Xtradecals with simple tape seat belts.
