Advantages:

A very well-presented set of images, maps and stories that would interest anyone with a passion for the U-Boat. Close-ups certainly of value to the modeller.

Disadvantages:

I’m always wary of centre-stapled books and I hope these see out their usage.

Conclusion:

Recommended to any modeller or historian of U-boats. You certainly won’t see these images anywhere else.

U-Boot Im Focus is a German/English book of 56 pages of quality semi-gloss paper with a stapled glossy card cover.

 

 

It contained masses of unpublished private images of Type VIIC and XIB U-Boats and the personnel who manned them, at work and at play.

 

 

I would imagine that this is primarily of interest to the military historian, but there are many close-up shots and diorama ideas that the modeller would find useful.
