Hobby Boss' 1/32 Spitfire Mk.Vb Trop is available online from Squadron
This is the Tamiya 1/48 scale F4F-4 Wildcat, converted to the General Motors FM-1. The markings represent an aircraft of VC-13 composite squadron aboard the Atlantic escort carrier USS Core (CVE-13) around late 1943.

I used the Wolfpack Design conversion set WW48017, which includes the inner and outer wing segments, plus decals. I used only the resin port wing and converted the starboard Tamiya wing from the three gun F4F-4 to the two gun FM-1 by filling in the outer gun panel lines and restoring the rivet detail. Other aftermarket goodies included the Vector wheels and Ultracast seat. The engine received a bit of love in the form of fine solder wire.

Colours are Mission Models Paints MMP001 White and MMP-064 Dark Gull Grey over Tamiya Fine White Primer, with maksed and painted national insignia

The pilot figure is from Tamiya's "WWII U.S. Navy Pilots w/Moto-Tug" set and was painted with acrylics and oils.
The base is Skunkmodels SW-48015 "WWII USN Wooden Deck Display Base."
