Tamiya strikes again! Every time I think that somewhere in my stash I  have already the best kit of that famous airplane, Tamiya surprises me  again raising the bar.

Not to mention the F-14 Tomcat, it also happened two  years ago with the Ki-61, it happened one year ago with the Bf 109, and  it is happening again this year with this new Spitfire.

Instructions  are foolproof, decals are close to aftermarket quality, a small self- adhesive sheet gives additional detail. Seat belts, and some delightful  radiator screens, are photo-etched.

As usual with Tamiya, canopy masks  are provided.

Overall, this early Spitfire not only looks gorgeous in  the box, it builds easily into a state of the art replica.
