CMK has added this small pack of 3 figures of the Armée de l'Air Française (French Air Force), to their already fairly extensive figure packs.

This set gives you a standing pilot with helmet on, of the modern era, and althought the set is titled for a Mirage F.1B, they could be used for any recent 1/72 French modern aircraft. The second figure is a bare headed pilot standing. The third of the figures is a mechanic with raised arms. His hand sections have been supplied as seperate parts which will enable you to accurately place him doing a specific task on and aircraft.

The level of detail on these figures is excellent. Now, there is quite a bit of cleaning up to do as there is a good deal of flash/webbing, which is a bit unusual for resin castings.

I have used CMK sets in previous aircraft builds and found them to be very clean and crisp. I have not had any previous experience with their figues so, this set is either an odd one or their figures are of a different quality to their aircraft detail sets. The other thing is that there is no painting instructions or even a colour picture of a set of painted figures, which would be really useful.

In conclusion, some cleaning up, will see you with some excellent little figures to complement your French modern aircraft.
