Swiss Air Force Holloman Mirage III S J-2302

Description

I built another model from an old Revell 1:32 kit. The decals are from http://www.mc-one.ch/Documents/new/new-1.htm

The aircraft made its first flight on January 8, 1964, after the 47 flight the Mirage J-2302 was dismantled, loaded in the belly of a Hercules C-130 and overflown to the Holloman Airforce base on July 30, 1964.

After the reassembly by Dassault, supported by mechanics from F + W, the Dassault test pilot Jean Coureau was able to release the aircraft for tests in the USA on September 2, 1964 after the inspection flight.

The Swiss Air Force was thus able to complete all shooting tests with cannons, rockets and bombs.
