Eduard has released a set of main undercarriage legs for their new 1/48 scale F4F-3 Wildcat kit.

 

 

This is the latest in Eduard's growing range of bronze cast undercarriage legs.

Eduard's 1/48 scale F4F Wildcat undercarriage set comprises two legs in solid bronze and two main covers and retraction struts in 3D printed resin.

 

 

The bronze legs are ready to paint and install straight from the box. There are no casting blocks or strips, and not a hint of seam lines or other imperfections.

 

 

The resin main gear covers and retraction struts are attached via thin strips that will be fast and easy to clean up with a sharp hobby knife and a sanding stick.

 

 

Detail of the resin parts is as good as you'd expect.

Instructions are well illustrated.

 

 

Conclusion

 

At USD$42.95 Eduard's bronze main undercarriage set is an opulent - perhaps even extravagent - finishing touch for your Eduard Wildcat kits.
