Eduard has released a couple of new updates for the Italeri 1/72 scale Short Stirling Mk.III kit:

SS776 - ZOOM Short Stirling Mk.III for Italeri kit. USD$19.95

This is Eduard's ZOOM photo-etched fret for the Italeri 1/72 scale Stirling Mk.III cockpit, comprising one pre-coloured fret.

 

 

This contains detail parts for the cockpit.

 

 

The colour fret supplies harness straps, instrument panel, side consoles and smaller details.

 

 

Instructions are included.


 

CX629 - MASK Short Stirling Mk.III for Italeri kit. USD$14.95

These are die-cut, self-adhesive masks for the outside of the Italeri 1/72 scale Stirling Mk.III canopy, turrets and wheels.

This will be particularly welcome on this heavy bomber with its intricate birdcage framing on the canopy and turrets.

 

 

Instructions are provided.

These represent a fast and accurate solution for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.
