Hasegawa's 1/72 scale
Grumman F-14D Tomcat

Here attached are the photos of my super detailed F-14D model, in 72nd scale painted in VF-101 LoVis camo.

This is the Hasegawa kit, with all detailing done scratch built. No after market sets were used on this project - regarding all interior of electronic bays, engine compartments, spine bays, wing moving mechanism or elsewhere.

Also, here are several collage photos from the "work in progress" stage, for the brief overview of building phases. The main source for detailing was the book "Uncover the Grumman F-14 Tomcat" by Danny Coremans, however hundreds of photos, available on the Internet, were also used.

One engine moved out, with exposed interior of the airframe, another engine exposed through opened panels, and detailed according to photo documentation.
