Description

 

RAAF Base Pearce is the main air force base in Western Australia and is located in Bullsbrook, 35 kilometers north of Perth. It is one of the busiest RAAF bases in the country in terms of total aircraft movements.

 

 

Although its primary mission is pilot training, Pearce remains the only permanent RAAF base on the West Coast and therefore has a significant logistical role.

 

 

The following are stationed at RAAF Base Pearce:

  • Flight School No. 2

  • No 79 Squadron

  • Pilatus PC-21 trainer aircraft

  • Hawk 127 fighter trainer

  • No 453 Squadron Pearce Air Traffic Control

  • No 25 (City of Perth) Squadron Airbase Operations

  • No 3 Security Forces Squadron Detachment Pearce

  • No 1 Expeditionary Health Squadron Detachment Pearce

  • No 130 Squadron of the Republic of Singapore

  • Trainer aircraft of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (No 130 Squadron

This 1:72 MPK Modellbau kit was dedicated to fellow pilot the PC-21 Andy Ramseier in cooperation with Mk72, Blitz AG Dünnernstrasse 39 4702 Oensingen Switzerland.
