Eduard's BRASSIN PRINT 300 litre drop tanks with ETC mounts are crisply printed and beautifully detailed. They will be suitable for Eduard's new 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 K-4 and many other Bf 109 G variants. Highly Recommended.

Eduard has released a number of related accessories in their BRASSIN PRINT range in conjunction with its new-tool 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 K-4 Late Series as reviewed on HyperScale last year.

 

 

One of these is a set of 300 litre drop tanks with ETC rack mounts.

Although labelled for a Bf 109 K-4, these will also be perfectly suitable for a range of Bf 109 G variants too.

 

 

Eduard's BRASSIN 1/48 scale Bf 109 K-4 external fuel tanks comprises six 3d printed pieces in grey resin and one decal sheet.

 

 

Printing quality is perfect on my sample. Cleanup is fairly straightforward - a sharp knife and a swipe with a sanding stick will be all that is required.

 

 

Parts are supplied for three subtle variations on the 300 litre drop tank theme. With the parts removed from their strips, assembly is very straightforward.

 

 

A small decal sheet is also included. This provides stencil markings and warnings in a choice of red and black.

 

 

Conclusion

 

Eduard's BRASSIN PRINT 300 litre drop tanks with ETC mounts are crisply printed and beautifully detailed.

They will be suitable for Eduard's new 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 K-4 and many other Bf 109 G variants.
