Advantages: Beautifully printed detail, good instructions, secure packaging.
Disadvantages: None noted.
Recommendation: This is a useful set of replacement cowl gun barrels that will enhance the Eduard kit or any others in this scale. You will also score a neat little storage box for those small pieces that seem to fall into the clutches of the carpet monster.

This is a small 3-D printed replacement part for the Eduard kit’s cowl machine gun barrels.

The packaging is the newer style with a large 210x100mm backing card and sleeve containing the instructions and colour notes. Inside this is a clear box containing the single resin piece which is attached to the floor with an adhesive to prevent movement and damage.

 

 

This packaging might be seen as a bit of overkill but I appreciate that, by standardising it across its 3-D printed range, Eduard will save money and packing, especially when it comes to more complex items such as interiors and propellers. In this case the barrels are finely printed with open ends and subtle surface detail.

 

 

A small number of support rods will be easily cut off the back of the part.  As such the set comes highly recommended.
