Eduard has produced a range of accessories for the recent Airfix 1:72 scale B-24H Liberator kit.
Tonight I review five of Eduard's useful upgrades for this nice kit.
73829 - Eduard Photo-Etch - B-24H Cockpit and Engines for Airfix kit

Two photo-etched frets are supplied.

The first is pre-coloured and mainly focuses on upgrade parts for the cockpit and engines including the instrument panel, harness straps, rudder pedals and many smaller details.

The second fret is brass etched and offers mainly engine elements including ignition harnesses, cowl flaps and much more.
73830 - Eduard Photo-Etch - B-24H Nose and Radio Compartment for Airfix kit

This set also includes two photo-etched frets and focuses on the nose and radio compartment.

Once again, a wealth of detail is offered.

The colour fret offers realistic swithc boxes and many smaller details.
The brass photo-etched fret includes textured floor parts, .50 cal ammo and more.
73839 - Eduard Photo-Etch - B-24H Undercarriage for Airfix kit

A large single brass plated photo-etched fret this time.

As the title implies, this set provides parts to effectively replace the main undercarriage bays.
SS829 - Eduard ZOOM B-24H for Airfix kit
I love these ZOOM sets. They are quite reasonable in price and add a heap of visible detail to the model subjects.

This one is no exception. It is, in effect, the colour fret from the cockpit set, so you get all the coloured goodies: instrument panel, harness straps, rudder pedals and many smaller details.

If you are on a budget but you are still a demon for detail, this one will suit you!
Detailed instructions are included for all the photo-etched sets.
CX-667 Masks - B-24H for Airfix kit

Die-cut, self-adhesive masks for the kit canopy and wheels.
These represent a fast and accurate solution for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.
The use of the photo-etched fret will result in a noticeably better detailed cockpit, especially around the instrument panel and side consoles.
The addition of the photo-etched harness straps will also be a highly visible upgrade.
The masks will save time and add sharp precision to the clear parts too!
These are very useful investments for your Airfix 1/72 scale B-24H Liberator.
