Here is the first of the FabScale Studio’s 3D resin printed parts that I received to review. As mentioned in a previous review, I had not heard of nor come across any of their products here in Australia.
The pair of intakes comes in a rugged plastic storage box to protect them from breakage. This shows that FabScale are taking pride in ensuring that you, the modeller, gets their product with no possible breakage. When you installed them in you model, you can use the box for further storage which is useful.
The intakes themselves come with a ring of fine printing supports on a solid ring. These will need to be removed with fine cutters or a sharp hobby knife and a swipe with a sanding stick will see them cleaned up. The printing itself is superb, there’s absolutely no sign of any layers at all. This is some of the best 3D resin printing I have seen.
FabScale Studio has certainly delivered the goods here - ultra-high quality, useful seamless intakes for your Tamiya F-14 kits.
These will most definitely raised the quality of your build. I can’t wait to use them on my F-14s.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to FabScale Studio for the review sample.
