David Doyle Books News
Easter 2024

Dear Friends,

We have a lot of news this week!

First, we’ve received the new Vikings in Vietnam and Great Maritime Patrol Aircraft of the World books.

Also, just arriving was a large restock of the popular Nuts & Bolts series books, replenishing our shelves of most of these titles.

Unfortunately, we've also have received more books which were damaged - they can be found at reduced prices here.

The most exciting news is that next week that we celebrate Holy Week and Easter.  While we our television screen is already filled with bunnies, colored eggs and the like, which will increase over the next week, unfortunately little is said about the real reason for the holiday – to recognize Christ’s sacrificial suffering and death and celebrate his Easter resurrection to atone for our sins and provide our salvation.

To do a little to push back against this trend we are offering a Easter special from now until Monday 25 March (or until supplies are exhausted).

Here are the details:

Order $25.00 worth of books

Put in the discount code "Easter"

The discount code will give you .01 off your purchase, BUT the real reason for this is to flag us to include in your order one of our Arch books (sorry, our choice of title rather than yours) related to the true meaning of Easter.

We recognize not everyone shares our beliefs regarding this (the beauty of the freedom our servicemen and women have fought for), so we will only include this free gift when the Easter discount code is entered.

Earlier this week we displayed a message indicating that due to a family medical emergency here was a brief delay in shipping orders placed Sunday afternoon and later.  We are pleased to say that backlog is now caught up, with most of the orders shipping Wednesday and the remainder being picked up today.  A few have questioned what happened, and the short version is that my mom had a bad fall which required her to be flown to the trauma center in Memphis.  Thankfully, mom is still with us, but sadly she has lost (permanently) her vision in one eye.  As you read this she is undergoing a third surgery.  We are hopeful that following this and after a few weeks of rehab she will be moving to a facility near us.  In the interim, we foremost appreciate your prayers, and secondarily appreciate your understanding that there may be a few occasions when circumstances delay our shipping for a day or so.

Denise and I remain grateful for your ongoing support.

Sincerely,
David and Denise Doyle
